PITHY-POINTEDJPEGS are all there's still time for

 I've been in this fight for a civilization that's been very good to us, bequeathed by the post WWII "Greatest (GI Bill) Generation"... the only exceptionalm global experiment in flat-fair enlightenment. A flawed but incrementally improving society and nation, at least somewhat dedicated to science, fact and developing goodwill... that's been steadingly dismantled by servants of foreign powers and haters of modernity.

Time is short and so, tonight, I'll just post some links and then some JPEGs that might be of use to the few of you who know a fence-sitter or Republican who shows glimmering signs of residual sanity and patriotism.  Some other JPEGs were featured at the end of my previous, blog about UFO / UAP fetish cultism.

Everyone is urging everyone else to vote! And sure, do that. Today, maybe check your registration, especially if you are in a red state. And (maybe?) gently see if your local MAGA's wife might be interested in ways to quietly cancel his...

1) The context for all this - I've long asserted - is a centuries-old cultural schism in the American psyche between those who feel pro- or anti-modernity. Today's MAGA love of zillionaire oligarchs and "strong" foreign tyrants is a romantic, pro-feudalism trait carried from 6000 years of hell that we only recently escaped, via science and the Enlightenment. 

In the 1770s, this manifested as loyalty to King George. In the 1860s half a million poor southern shites died for their "Gone With The Wind" plantation/ slaver lords. Today there's astounding/horrifying Republican nostalgia for... Hitler. Alas, history shows they back down to accept "malice toward none" and zillion$ of net benefits from Blue America, but only AFTER an Appomattox.

2)  Far too little is made of the Turpitude Gap. If we set aside Utah & Alaska & Illinois as outliers (or even if we don’t) average rates of almost every turpitude are far higher across Red-run states than Blue-led ones: from gambling, addiction, STDs, domestic violence and murder to teen sex, divorce and net tax parasitism on the rest of the nation. National Republican administrations are always spendthrift wastrels, sending deficits skyrocketing, while Democratic ones are always far more fiscally responsible. Always. And military readiness which always plummets (as now) under GOP regimes since Reagan. I welcome $$$ wagers on any of that. (See one of the jpegs, below.)

3) Adam Smith - so-called Market Conservatives never mention him anymore... or the words 'fair competition. If here here now, Adam Smith would be a flaming Democrat.  Liberals, you must reclaim him!

6) Only how about a more cocise and recent set of pragmatic measures that Dems could shoot for - and a few would not even be thwarted by Trump vetoes! 

Here are my own proposed Newer Deal tactics and reforms. I promise some will make you go 'huh!' And Again... BOY do the leaders of the good side in this struggle need fresh ideas!

Here are more examples that I've collected. Jpeg-box memes are a necessary art form, because the alien brain-suppression ray that I spoke of last time has clearly given us the attention spans of fruit flies.

MAGAs will shriek all this is fake!  But they tend to back off when you demand that they step up, like actuasl men, and wager $$$ stakes over any of these!

And finally... for now...

To all of the above, MAGA's have one response... they are loyal to DT because he gives them one thing... Our tears. He galls the smartypants fact people whom they despise. But they forget 1781. They forget 1865. They forget 1945 and 1964. Lessons their cult must learn once again. They will find out that Americans with IQs above room temperature have been endlessly generous... but are now fed-up...

They have roused a sleeping giant and filled us with a terrible resolve.
